The Hot Months

I haven't created any art decent enough for the internet, so I decided to post some photos from summer so far.
It's been pretty uneventful so far. I hope it picks up soon.

A Glimpse

A glimpse at probably one of the DUMBEST paintings I've ever done.
I do really like this loose color business I accidently did though.

If you don't know, Its Jack from LOST and I running away from SmokeyJohn
John Locke is in the painting too, he just needs some serious hand corrective surgery before I put him on the internet.

Stupid painting.... at least it makes me laugh, who knows maybe you'll laugh too.

Brooklyn Bridge

I went sketching down at South Street Seaport with Stephen Gardner. It turned out to be an enjoyable day, despite the rainy start.
I got some okay drawings done.
This one was the best.

And Now for Something Completely Different...

Every thursday us illustration kids get to push around some clay and make something pretty.
I think its fun... but oh does everyone smell bad afterwards. You will smell like oil clay, for pretty much the rest of the week.

Anyway, heres my sculpture of Ms. Danielle LaViola.

After background demolition.

A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

A silly old piece from last semester.

"A Wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs."

"But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep. The Lamb that belonged to the sheep, whose skin the Wolf was wearing, began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep's clothing."

"So, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her, and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals."
